@ole_spice@mhp_guy I agreed, but my son went recently and said something has changed back. They do seem better again. Go back and let me know if you think they’ve somehow returned. This is important!
@JLe7704@mhp_guy Am I hallucinating? I had been saying this, yet folks on NextDoor kept praising them like they had been hypnotized. But recently I think they’ve somehow come back. Please try again and let me know if you agree.
@mhp_guy Help me out. They changed ownership a few years back, kept the donut-making mostly as it had been for just a short while, and then became like everyone else. So disappointing. But recently, I don’t know when, the magic was back. What’s the story there?
@BrandonKleyla@IndyInTheClass Living in the middle of nowhere in Texas at the time, I was thrilled to discover that this scene was filmed not far from me in the middle of nowhere in Texas.
@AmazingPopPod I frequently think of this movie when I think of the 80s, with its setting in a city that might as well have been a Hollywood creation to a kid isolated in a small town in Texas.
And think how much better NYC became in the years to come.
@IndyJonesfive Pumped. And now wondering if it was intentional to use a Rolling Stones song to end a franchise that began with a large rolling stone. (As astutely pointed out by a friend.)
