@lippyent My 1981 VW Rabbit Sport had a manual floor shift and power assisted steering. Actually rack and pinion.

@lippyent It was a 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Sport, but I had practice (opposite hand/foot configuration) on a Honda 125!

@TracesofTexas Wish I could share images of Ft. Worth's original KTVT station where I produced 30 second commercials for Mitchells & Myers Department Stores during the 1980s. It was spectacularly analog - and still had the original 3-lens cameras under dust cloths.
