@jasonkredline@KipBouton The old Pac were massive academic snobs, was a big reason.
Boise will be an R1 research university by the next reclassification cycle, so that's less of an issue anymore.
I do agree SDSU is attractive, but old Pac wouldn't have considered them when they weren't R1.
@SSN_BoiseState I get it. It's just been three years of having to read the same shet every fecking game. That's not totally on you, but it's just so boring to read the same things every game from the same people. Be more creative and less one dimensional
@notdigitaldam We knew it was going to be. Too much turnover. Fresno and SDSU have been disappointing. CSU and Oregon State look like they are in an upward trajectory. Wazzu just needs a little more time. Texas State was always a reach
@JMUSportsFan@kateeee85 I think ideally you'd get to 7 and 7. Texas State shifts to the east. We grab JMU, Memphis, and then the 3 next best. Very little cross country travel for all sports.
Who would be your 3? You want schools that are in high investment mode w/great administrative and fan support
@bastein410@JMUsportsblog That's in the Pac. Better facilities, bigger budgets, better fan support. JMU and the Pac need to grab the best in the central/eastern time zones and have east/west divisions.
@HDChrisJMU Nah, just come to the Pac, we'll grab the top of the AAC and drop the dead weight.
JMU is more in line with the Pac in budget and facilities than it is with most of the AAC.
@ItsABullLife4Me JMU, USF, Tulane, and Memphis need to join the Pac. Drop the dead weight and be with like minded schools that are pumping hundreds of millions into their programs to get better
@1BroncoBeliever UNR is a bit sentimental, but they are still ahead budget wise and facilities. WAAAY better basketball with a new arena coming.
New Mexico is hands down better than the others mentioned in almost every category... plus geography and history
