SpaceX has officially requested FCC approval to launch and operate a third-generation satellite constellation of 100,000 satellites, designed to power human connectivity and AI-fueled progress.
"The artificial intelligence revolution promises a supersonic tsunami of progress with the capability to deliver transformative prosperity to billions and carry the light of human consciousness far into the future. The Gen3 system will include 100,000 satellites operating in very-low-Earth-orbit to deliver extremely low-latency and multi-gigabit symmetrical throughput for consumers, enterprises, and government users and billions of Al-powered devices around the world. To achieve this ambitious goal, the Gen3 system will put new spectrum and sharing frameworks to work for American consumers. Al requires massive uplink capacity to support high-definition."
The Gen3 system will consist of 100,000 satellites, configured in two bands of thin, closely stacked operational shells with nominal altitudes between 323 and 327.5 kilometers and 473 and 477.5 kilometers. SpaceX seeks flexibility to operate its Gen3 system with inclinations ranging from 26 degrees to 96.9 degrees (sun-synchronous orbit) to optimize coverage consistent with evolving demand.
This new filing is separate from SpaceX's previous application to operate a constellation of up to 1 million AI satellites. They are two distinct constellations.
Grok Voice just got a major upgrade
SpaceXAI released 21 new flagship voices for Grok, joining the original five
All of them are multilingual and available now through:
• Realtime Voice Agent API
• Text-to-Speech API
• Grok Voice Agent Builder
This is not just “more voices”
SpaceXAI is building a full voice layer for AI agents:
Support agents, characters, commentary, advertising, education, wellness, customer service
Every voice is designed for a different use case, with support for 25+ languages
The original Grok voices - Ara, Eve, Leo, Rex, and Sal....also got upgraded with better pacing, phrasing, emphasis, and naturalness
And builders can now create custom voice agents directly inside the SpaceXAI console
One of the most fascinating earthworks remaining intact in the United States: The Mt. Horeb Earthworks in Adena Park, near Lexington, Kentucky. The main earthwork is a circular, 200-foot-diameter formation with a 15-foot-wide earthen outer wall. A “Causeway” at the only opening (on the West side) leads to the top of the central mound. Inside the outer wall is a 10-foot-deep moat that is 45 feet wide. In the center of the earthwork is a circular platform mound 105 feet in diameter. Excavations in 1939 on the central platform mound revealed 132 postholes of upright logs forming a ritualistic focal center. The site was likely made around 500 B.C.

The great John Adams in a letter to his wife on July 3, 1776:
“I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.
You will think me transported with Enthusiasm but I am not. -- I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure, that it will cost Us to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States. -- Yet through all the Gloom I can see the Rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the End is more than worth all the Means. And that Posterity will tryumph in that Days Transaction, even altho We should rue it, which I trust in God We shall not.”
Adams “rays of ravishing light and glory” continue 250 years later. What a blessing
One of the most misunderstood facts is that the US was founded with abundance, whereas it was in fact built from scratch.
At the time of founding, Britain was the greatest nation governing the Seven Seas, while China was at its height with total land dominance in the East under the Qianlong Emperor.
The usable land of the US at founding was much smaller than that of either nation. The 13 colonies spanned 430K square miles, while Britain governed 2.5M square miles and China owned 5M square miles of territory.
The trade and economic volume of the 13 colonies was minuscule, consisting mostly of raw materials that barely registered on the charts. Combined, the 13 colonies produced $4B GDP, while Britain made $350B and China $2.5T in today’s dollars.
In other words, the 13 colonies were less than 0.2% of the world economy and much smaller than that of many African nations today.
The wealth of the US was not inherited but earned through survival and competition against stronger nations. Most people who came here brought nothing but empty hands yet built an empire from the ground.
This is something that people who inherit great resources from parents and ancestors cannot understand—like most nations in Europe and Asia, where wealth was dominated by inheritance, not earned. They mistakenly believe what we have now is a privilege. The trees we enjoy today were planted and nourished with sweat and blood by previous generations so that we could cut the wood for warmth.
Be a tree planter, not a wood chopper. Plant your tree today. 🌱
We need a bit more shame.
People used to avoid certain self-interested behaviors to avoid shame, private and public. Law and customs assumed this.
Now, 38% of Stanford students claim to be disabled. 40% of young women (under 35) claim mental illness, and SSI disability payments have gone up 400% in a single generation.
It isn't good for anyone, least of all people who are actually disabled, when everyone looks the other way as friends and family and peers con the system with a level of shamelessness no architect of our safety net ever imagined could be possible in America. When everyone is disabled, nobody is.
