25 years ago today, Jessica Simpson released her sophomore album "Irresistible". A shiny, digitally rendered funk ("Irresistible", "I Never"), huge power ballads ("There You Were", "When You Told Me You Loved Me") and even a bit of gospel, namely "His Eye Is On The Sparrow". The standout cut is "Hot Like Fire" which sees Jessica get into Destiny's Child territory. The album sold 120k copies in its first week.
The Mets are a flat out awful baseball team. Thank you to David Sterns for replacing all the players who produced with injury prone / washed up players who don’t give a damn. An absolute disgrace. And shame on you for allowing it @StevenACohen2
@y2kpopart I met Svala during this run when she opened for O-Town. 😭😭 The real me album is one of my fav shelved albums from the 2000s. Think it was released outside the states.
