Women's full, equal, and meaningful participation in peace processes is vital to achieving lasting peace.
As we mark #1325at25, @CFSaundersUN calls for a commitment to Pillar 1 of the #WomenPeaceSecurity agenda: the meaningful participation of women in every peace process.🕊️
Last week, @CFSaundersUN and the OSCSEA team had the honour of speaking with @annytenga about her work as a peacebuilder and women's rights advocate in the #DRC.
Anny's work to protect women from violence & her leadership in support of lasting peace are an example to us all.

I wrote about Gisele Pelicot, whose husband spent 10 years drugging her & soliciting men to rape her.
She thought she was with a “good man”. She didn’t know until it was too late.
Her courage inspired me to start telling my own stories. Merci Gisele:

Climate scientist Peter Kalmus (@ClimateHuman) talks about leaving Los Angeles two years ago due to the risk of climate-fueled wildfires. He says the devastation unfolding in Southern California now is even worse than he feared and warns, "This is still just the beginning."
Mohadese, Veronika, Shagufa and Nargis became good friends of mine and we are still in touch until today. I have met them on different occasions and they have always been more than just a story to me. The video we created in 2021 inspired many young girls around the world to pursue their own careers in aviation, something we are all very proud of. Thanks for reading!
Hi, Funeral Director here.
The people who die alone are men. Women have a community, men rarely do.
We have to search far and wide for someone to claim their bodies, in many cases, we bury them curtesy of the state and the only people who are at the funeral is me and a driver.
Gender based digital transnational repression is a horrifying scourge, leaving women afraid and isolated
