@EdMcKeown13 @AltFrankfurter @Tess_Bennett1 It has "evolved" in relation to DELEGATED responsibilities, however, his Constitutional role is still limited to what it is. He has no real "power" over the bureaucracy. Not even the President can give the VP that kind of power.
@AltFrankfurter You should explain it to me. Is it your contention that he was having a heart attack for 5 hours?
Not sure how race figures into what I said, but when you're losing, you throw everything out there, I guess.
@EdMcKeown13 @AltFrankfurter @Tess_Bennett1 This has already been discussed.
What "subordinates" work under the VP that have classification auth.? The VP has no statutory authority over intelligence officials. The PRESIDENT does...
This effectively says that the VP can declassify what he himself has classified.
@AltFrankfurter @Tess_Bennett1 I took the liberty of looking for you, since you seem to have trouble with this technical stuff.
Find section 3.1 titled "DECLASSIFICATION AND DOWNGRADING". It's more or less the same as the original Bush XO. It does not give the VP power to declassify, unsurprisingly.
@Badtzmaru51@OldLineActual@SamTLevin He also said it was a stunt for YouTube, or something to that effect.
The man was blitzed out of his mind, and did not die at the hands of police. He literally died 5 hours later at the hospital.
Drugs killed him.
@AltFrankfurter @Tess_Bennett1 Really? Please point out where it shows the power to declassify of the vp. That shows CLASSIFICATION AUTHORITY. It's a direct copy of the Bush XO.
