'I WAS SHOCKED'

WATCH: President Bongbong Marcos revealed that he was surprised to learn that the practice of inspecting completed government projects for approval by local government units was scrapped during the Duterte administration.

Marcos said that this standard procedure serves as a mechanism to ensure the delivery of quality projects by contractors.

"Iyon ang sistema noon apparently in the last administration they removed it entirely I was shocked because this is standard procedure," the president said. | @TristanNodalo

‘WE WANT THE PEOPLE TO TRUST THE ICI’

Hindi isasapubliko ng Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) ang mga pagdinig nito tungkol sa umano’y korupsyon sa mga proyekto ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

“It’s a very dangerous thing if we livestream it and at the same time, people might be misled. [We] want the people to trust [that] we will be doing our job fairly, objectively, and independently,” saad ni ICI Executive Director Brian Hosaka sa panayam sa “The Big Story” sa One News.

“Rest assured that if whenever we do find sufficient grounds to recommend the filing of any criminal actions, civil or administrative actions against any individual or group, which may be responsible for these anomalies, we will file it with our proper agencies,” dagdag pa niya.

Why not ayusin muna yung accountability at anti-corruption efforts? Wala ring silbi yang realignment-realignment na yan kung kukurakotin lang din ng mga ganid na nasa posisyon. 🙄🙄🙄 BBM is the weakest PH president ever.

Momentum is everything. One good day creates another. One workout leads to better eating. One hard conversation opens ten easy ones. One small win builds confidence for bigger ones. Get the ball rolling. Physics handles the rest.

There’s something called “paralysis by analysis” it happens when you spend so much time weighing your options, searching for the “perfect” way or overthinking every detail that you end up doing nothing at all. The fear of making the wrong move replaces the courage to simply start
