tinkerbeeLite board and 4 color E-Paper display

We tried adding a 4 color (White, Black, Red, Yellow) E-Paper Display to our ESP32-S3 + ISC-SX1262 + ePD driver board and it worked on the first try! Our board features an ultra-low power consumption.

With power gated peripherals, sleep consumes less at than 10uA! And the e paper display does not need any power once its updated. Neat!

PowerBee!

This cute little device solves a very Indian problem. It simply plugs in to any spare power socket and alerts you if there is no power supply. One can set a delay for it to activate a local audio alarm too.

Of course you can see all the details of when the power went off and when it was restored, on your online dashboard because PowerBee can talk over WiFi (provided your WiFi router has a power backup - which is easily available nowadays).

Also connected to WhatsApp™, our system can alert you wherever you are, on your phone, no app or dashboard required.

Our motivation for this device was: one of our mentors, who mentioned about a friend who had gone on a foreign trip and came back to see his fridge blackened with mold. All because some MCB tripped and there was no power for a couple of weeks. He had to discard the fridge! That is what happens when fungi takes over a moist and organic store such as a fully stocked refrigerator at room temperature! He could have prevented this if only he knew that the power was off!

There are a lot of use-cases where this information becomes very critical!

And so we built this cute little intelligent device with a simple function - monitor when the power goes off or comes back.
