They have ordered all NGOs in Afghanistan to fire female employees or face having their licenses revoked.

The latest decree tightens their grip on women’s rights, leaving half the population increasingly silenced and impoverished.

The UN warned the ban will cripple life-saving aid efforts in a nation facing dire humanitarian crises.

Women are already banned from higher education, public spaces, and most jobs.
