Jensen Huang, the CEO of world's most valuable chip company just admitted his biggest mistake on camera.

He missed the Anthropic investment.

When Anthropic needed billions to train their models, he assumed they could just raise from VCs. Like all companies do.

'I always thought they could just go raise from VCs, for God's sakes,' he said. 'But what they were trying to do couldn't have been done through VCs. I recognize that now.'

By the time he understood, Google and AWS had already written the checks. Anthropic went to someone else.

The lesson: when the world changes, your mental model of how things work has to change with it. The smartest people in the room are the ones who admit when they got it wrong.
