also, one other thing, i'm not upset over this guys success with a paid file manager, more power to them.
i am just disappointed that meta would rather promote a file manager which someone can make in less than a week than an indie vr game which has had much more work required.
one other thing, this is just literally an insult to any indie vr game devs shipping on their platform struggling with sales and promotion.
meta has chosen to promote a *paid* file manager someone can make in less than a week like its some new revolutionary idea.

LMFAOO?? DIDNT META LITERALLY PREVENT FILE MANAGER APPS FROM RELEASING ON THE QUEST STORE FOR LIKE AGES??
how the fuck is a file manager riveting news for developers, who the fuck cares, ITS A FILE MANAGER.
if you're an indie vr game dev, this should piss you off too. just makes me feel like meta doesn't appreciate any of the indie vr games being released on their platform, disappointing.
who knows, maybe i am wrong for feeling this way.

seriously who wants to pay for a file manager, cos i sure as hell am not. its a file manager, it probably took like a week at most to make a file manager that works.
who cares for this at all.

Users were sideloading this developer's Android file manager on Quest before he even supported it.
He took the hint, ported it in a week, and matched his monthly revenue rate on other platforms in just 2 months. π

"gee i wonder why it matched the revenue stream in just 2 months" MAYBE BECAUSE THE FILE MANAGER ON QUEST IS FUCKING USELESS??
ALSO, THERE IS NO NEW MARKET SEGMENT, ITS JUST A FUCKING FILE MANAGER LMFAOO.
and a paid one at that ππ
also, im not releasing this at all, its like, clearly vibecoded slop, asking for it will get you nowhere. i just wanted to show something stupid i did, i am not working on this any further.
