@v_solesmith I’ve politely declined dessert my entire life, and I dislike chocolate (unless I’m pregnant apparently lol) I’ve preferred savory foods since I was a child though, hopefully I haven’t been judged for it, I know I’d never think negatively of someone declining sweets.
A lot of times I feel like I do things just to prove to myself that I can.
Then I do it & the finished product is ok. & I know if it was something I stuck with I could master it & be THE BEST.
But then I don’t, because I already did it.
I don’t know how you could read this article & not immediately place blame on the police, Walmart for calling the police & systemic poverty & lack of support that would bring a new mom to desperation to shop lift essentials.

The way that ‘women’s work’ is devalued is insane to me - this means teaching jobs, childcare jobs, both typically women led industries, but insanely underpaid & undervalued yet absolutely essential.
Being a new mom & navigating childcare & going back to work is just wild to me. I cannot believe women have just been out here this whole time doing all this without any standardized or comprehensive support.
We went shopping yesterday & incase you need to know the appropriate length of shorts for men it’s the ones with the 5.5” inseam, thank you I will not be taking questions at this time
@rossillustrator@jordansydnee I love this! I’m looking forward to the fall holidays this year & switching things up, especially Thanksgiving - it’s way too much work 😅
because Easter is about Jesus & not about egg hunts & anyone who does egg hunts doesn’t take the true meaning of Easter seriously.
So for our Easter’s as a family, I just want to do the opposite of that.
When I was 7 our neighbors had huge family gatherings for Easter & the egg hunt was the biggest part.
We’d sit across the street watching the kids run around shrieking & finding eggs. They always invited us to join but my dad always said no.
