The fact that the narrative went from “Teslas can’t even drive themselves” to “well, they have a supervisor” to “well, they have steering wheels” to “well, sure, they don’t have steering wheels, but there are only a few dozen Cybercabs” just shows how fleeting these criticisms are as Tesla continues to knock them down one by one.

Tesla unveiled the Cybercab just 23 months ago and is going to start the first public rides in this thing in less than 3 days - something a lot of people said would never happen.

Cybercab will be a game changer in many ways, but especially for people with disabilities. It has Braille throughout the car, a seat height that matches that of a wheelchair, multiple grab points, and enough space around your legs to store a wheelchair or accommodate a large service dog.

I don't know how anyone could root against this vehicle.

BREAKING: Elon Musk has just confirmed SpaceX’s plan for an in-house factory to cast critical gas-turbine blades and vanes, eliminating the biggest bottleneck slowing turbine production.

He says producing these components at SpaceX could bring new natural-gas turbines online up to 18 months faster, a profound game-changer for the massive power buildout supporting SpaceXAI's rapidly expanding data centers.

SpaceX and Tesla are also each building 100 GW per year of solar production capacity as fast as possible. Musk says natural gas will still be needed for several years to supplement and bootstrap solar.

Classic Elon: when the supply chain cannot move fast enough, build the factory yourself.

SpaceX just launched NASA’s newest flagship space telescope.

What makes Roman special:

• Its mirror came from hardware once built for U.S. intelligence
• Same mirror size as Hubble, but less than 1/4 the weight
• A huge 300MP infrared camera
• Each image covers at least 100× more sky than Hubble
• In five years, it should image over 50× more sky than Hubble did in 30
• Will study dark matter, dark energy and billions of galaxies
• Carries 1,350,144 people’s names toward L2
• All survey data will be public after processing

BREAKING: SpaceX gets approval for 444 acres near the Port of Brownsville, clearing the way for a major expansion.

The city also approved a major infrastructure agreement with SpaceX:

• Up to $220 million for regional water and wastewater projects
• An initial $40 million escrow contribution
• Six additional quarterly payments of $30 million each
• Projects capable of adding around 18 million gallons of water supply per day
• Funding for water reuse, wastewater reclamation and expansion of the Southmost Regional Water Authority plant

This is much bigger than a land deal. SpaceX is helping build critical infrastructure that could strengthen South Texas for generations.

Elon says SpaceX is building a turbine-blade factory in the U.S. to accelerate natural gas turbines deployment by up to 18 months for their AI datacenters. Long term plan is to use solar panels built by SpaceX and Tesla.

Earlier this month, Tesla filed an application to build a $10.1 billion vertically integrated solar cell manufacturing facility in Fort Bend County, Texas, aiming to start construction this year and finish in 2028, with commercial operations starting in Q1 2029.

Tesla just brought one of the most expensive parts of a battery in-house.

Giga Texas is now running North America’s first large-scale cathode factory, producing the critical material used inside Tesla’s 4680 cells.

That means less dependence on overseas suppliers, tighter control over cost and a process Tesla says has 74% better greenhouse-gas efficiency than tier-one suppliers.

Those cells feed Cybertruck, Cybercab, Semi and whatever comes next.

Turns out building the car was only part of the job.
