Rui has no intentions of moving out of his parents’ home any time soon because he has all he needs there, and moving out would simply be a hassle. Living on his own means he’d have to worry about all those menial tasks that he can't stand (cont.)
@Haru_xde25 Yesss I absolutely agree!! He may try to tell himself he's fine being by himself, but truly, he's the sort of person who's happiest in the company of others like family and friends and doesn't like being alone
but also because he has been worried about Rui never learning how to become independent and live away from his parents. So, this turns out to be a great opportunity for both of them to learn and grow together.
They also promise Rui that they won’t move anything in the garage, so that he still has a place to store all his inventions that he can’t move to the new apartment yet.
It’s a relief for Tsukasa that Rui agreed, not only because being able to share the workload and have someone he deeply trusts to spend his days with at home fills Tsukasa’s heart with joy,
Moving all of those is a great hassle that he would rather avoid. However, Tsukasa eventually manages to convince Rui with a couple of reasonable arguments and a little bit of his charm. After all, Rui does have a weakness for Tsukasa.
He enjoys living in the comfort of his parents’ home, not having to worry about rent or anything of that sorts. Not to mention, he has an entire garage all for himself where he gets to store all the countless of inventions he has.
Although he says he’s managing well so far, he also admits that he misses the feeling of finally seeing the face of someone dear after an exhausting day ends.
At this moment, Tsukasa looks at Rui and suddenly has a thought pop up in his head. „Let’s move in together!“ he exclaims with hope sparkling in his eyes. Rui is hesitant, though.
Tsukasa eventually reveals that he feels somewhat overwhelmed and stressed with all the additional responsibilities that came when he started living on his own.
That’s until one day, Rui comes to visit Tsukasa to practice the latter’s role in more detail. At some point during a break, they land on the topic of moving out and living alone.
Now, there is only a tiny, empty apartment awaiting him. Honestly, he rarely even spends time at home. Typically, he’s only there to sleep, eat, and study, but most of his time spent during a day is anywhere else but the apartment.
However, all the work he has to get through every day pales compared to the lack of liveliness in his home whenever he comes back from a long day. He can’t lie, he misses the warm welcomes from Saki and his parents whenever he would come home from school or practice.
Unfortunately, as he has rushed into this before understanding the whole extent of things, he is begrudgingly confronted with the reality of his situation that doesn’t look at all as he has imagined and boasted about before.
He finds himself swamped with chores on top of his regular activities, but since he doesn’t want to worry anyone, he keeps pushing through everything as best as he can.
Furthermore, if he learns to live on his own quickly, it would mean a burden less for his family. He wants to make them proud by becoming a reliable young man as soon as possible.
Tsukasa, on the other hand, wants to be as independent as possible and rushes into moving out head first without considering all pros and cons properly beforehand.
Admittedly, he simply finds it an incredibly cool quality to be living alone and imagines himself in a grand apartment, taking care of everything effortlessly.
