@Nitrate_Film Been putting this off for three years! I am such a procrastinator 😆 I was set on flashing the firmware and all that, but I've also been eyeballing the newer mp3 players and just decided to keep it super simple and use what I had.

finally re-downloaded all the iTunes songs I bought in the 2000s onto the 2017 MacBook I've been using for 3 years & quickly rated my library so I could fill this old iPod mini with 4gb of songs I love. Now I have music offline and I'm reconnecting with older music that I own.

@theveganearper I had 10gb or so of music between my mom's old MP3s and everything I bought on iTunes back in the day so I had to sit and sort quickly to get the best stuff down to 4gb.

my old ripped cd collection is still in storage sitting on an old book, so this is just phase one 😌
