i'm having a day. kiln broke again again again (decided i'm gonna get a slightly bigger one that won't have the flaw that keeps killing this) wheel has a tiny wobbly (or i may be imagining & just forgotton how to turn) and perfect beautiful automata i sold broke in the post :(

my kiln has been fixed since last thurday, been sat in the warehouse cos the company had beef with the delivery guys & refused pick up twice. finally got picked up thurday annnnddd... the delivery company sent it the wrong way and are now saying i won't get till tuesday :( :( :(

i had a little tiny pottery wheel cos i have a little tiny kiln. now i have a big wheel i have sooo many big pots to fire. and kiln stuck in delivery hell, due thursday now. just know i will run it solidly till it breaks again :D

stupid parcel people did not pick up stupid kiln yesterday and did not attempt today so now they won't pick up till monday so i won't get it back till tuesday and i cry :(

also have 10 new glazes mixed that i need to test. imma gonna break this thing again in an instant. and the kiln people already v grumpy with me. was not my fault it broke either time, i did not connect the connection wot broke.

my kiln will be back tommorow. i've missed it so much. and have a billion things to cook in it. tuned pots, clay spheres (so pleasing but may explode) and i seem to have gone on a weird spoon side quest. but a stack of meauring spoons and standing soup spoons? yes pls.

got a still crappy cheap but 100 times better than my tiny crappy extra cheap potters wheel. it's fab. trouble is i just spent ages working out how to make the teeny one do shit now i have to learn again. but this one has torque, you and squish and push. i am covered in clay.

browsing glaze recipes, like you do. some use bone ash. i mean glazes are basically sand and rocks and any ole shit so fair enough. this one tho, human bone ash? i mean wot. where do you get it for one? so many questions. pretty glaze tho. might try it without the human.

is a bit hot. small about to have a shower says it would be great if you could have colder ones... after quite a long discussion it turns out he did not know that you could contol the temperature. had to go show him the knob. the knob oposite the turn it on knob. lols.
