A new pinned introduction post:
Hi, I'm Rachel (she/hers). I mostly post about TTRPGs like D&D & VtM, personal life stuff, and I share cool art.
I'm disabled, polyam, aro (?), bi, and unapologetically leftist. I'm also still COVID-conscious.
I also may or may not be a cryptid
and with that, the campaign that started forming 4 years ago, and we played for 2 1/2 years has come to an end. Only 2 of my players from it are on here, @tinymossymoth and @NatsuOdonata, but it has been amazing and very bitter sweet for it to end
The long-term game with my twilight cleric and himbo minotaur came to an end. Everyone went off to continue their own stories, and it had an epic and very sweet ending, very fitting for such a lovely campaign. I am very happy to have seen it to the end.

Everyone thinks they can just adopt a service top at the shelter and then they're shocked when he destroys their entire apartment. They're a working breed, they need a job or they'll become bored and destructive! They're not bad dogs they just require a special handler
@muffinops1 but thank you for offering to talk to your friends! I think I'll be okay, I need to just see some of the common scripts/practices that they provide when doing their work. Not even that in-depth, but just so I have a better understanding of it so I can play my character well
I gotta look up fortune telling and medium work for my new vtm character but also I really don't want all my algorithms thinking I'm into that or new age spiritualism
@muffinops1 Yeahh. For me personally, since I'm a former social worker I really don't like encouraging "magical thinking" even if it's just for funsies for most people. I knew clients who would take this stuff as a solution for their struggles with mental illness and not pursue treatment.
@muffinops1 Oh that would be interesting! It's happened this weekend actually, but it looks like there's another one popping up in March. I might go loiter around it and buy some cheap jewelry
