After keeping us in the dark for over 45 days, NTA now wakes up to announce a complete re-exam for English, Commerce, and Sociology due to their own pathetic paper-setting and translation errors! Playing with the mental health and futures of lakhs of students is unacceptable. Accountability is needed now. I swear you’ll see something you’ve never experienced before we’ll protest and rather than again and again wasting our time in a paper that will have no conclusion whatsoever we will visit NTA in a mass number and tell you the importance of student unity. JNU PhD Admissions Updates:

PhD admission in JNU and DU are done through UGC-NET exam scores. It is conducted by the same @NTA_Exams which conducts NEET. Now it has cancelled 3 papers.

It might lead to atleast a months delay in admission.

For many young women, preparing for competitive exams comes with an additional deadline: marriage. A paper leak or re-exam can mean losing months of preparation, further widening the gender gap in access to jobs and financial independence.

Meenu Kumari says she feels caught between two timelines: her own and society’s. At 23, she is still studying and not financially independent, but she is already seen as being of marriageable age. The pressure to get married, she says, feels constant and heavy.

“I worry that if my parents decide it is time for me to get married, I will not be able to continue my education and all my hard work will go to waste,” she says.

She points out that boys are usually given much more time to figure out their lives. “They get time to study, find work, and settle down, often until they are around 30. That is not the case for girls. For us, the deadline is much shorter; early to mid-twenties.”

In many families, Meenu explains, girls are encouraged to pursue higher education mainly so they can be married into better-off households. “Everything eventually revolves around marriage,” she says.

NTA AGAIN FAILS STUDENTS — WHO WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE?

UGC-NET June 2026 has once again exposed serious questions about NTA’s examination system. NTA has ordered a re-test for English, Commerce and Sociology after an inquiry found factual, typographical, translation errors and repeated questions.

For students, this is not a minor administrative error.

Months of preparation.
Career plans on hold.
JRF, PhD and academic opportunities delayed.
And now — another examination.

The students’ message is clear: they cannot keep paying the price for NTA’s failures.

The issue is accountability:

Who approved these flawed papers?
Who will answer for the lost time?
What safeguards failed?
And how many more examinations must be compromised before NTA is held accountable?

An examination agency entrusted with determining eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor and PhD opportunities must be held to the highest standards of accuracy and transparency.

Students deserve a reliable examination system — not repeated experiments with their careers.

Held a meeting with the Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, to discuss restructuring the NTH Cadre and strengthening NTH testing facilities to ensure they meet global standards.

We pay hefty fees for our exams, funding an entire agency, yet we are treated like beggars instead of paying stakeholders. First, their helpline officials rudely shout, "YOU WILL HAVE TO WRITE THE EXAM!" when questioned about error-free English & Commerce papers. Now, the DG MR.
