Mental health facilities are appallingly unprepared to deal with Type 1’s in general, let alone those with diabulimia.

Also, I once stayed at a mental health facility where they took away my insulin pump and refused to give me fast-acting insulin with meals for like 2 days.

I basically stopped eating in strike, because all I could manage to do was lay around feeling sick.
