Elvis Costello calls out “arrogant” artists who take credit for other people’s work while defending Olivia Rodrigo against plagiarism accusations over “Brutal”:
“How could I be arrogant enough to sue on the basis of originality when my song is based on ‘Subterranean Homesick Blues’? Did Bob Dylan sue me?”
It’s like a deconstructed idea of a rock song, it’s super raw and bare in its production, super intentional contrast in the loud and the quiet, is catchy, starts to build up to something and then just ends? It’s so jarring yet somehow I like it? 😭
We need a term for when an artist gets too famous so releases something daring and unconventional to burn off half the fan base because it seems weird to say "this is her Perverts"
“she started this” mind you she did her job as a CEO INTERNALLY and hybe publicly started a fake audit and media war against her 💀you hybe stans genuinely need to go get checked for dementia or schizophrenia either or 💀

Min Hee-jin offered to waive the ₩25.5 billion awarded in her lawsuit if HYBE agrees to withdraw all legal actions against NewJeans and its members:
“As I have said many times, there are values more precious to me than money. The NewJeans members must be having a very difficult time right now, and I want to tell them that there are adults standing with them. I hope this decision to give up 25.5 billion won will contribute to the development of K-pop. I have a vision I held when launching NewJeans. It is very regrettable, but I hope ADOR will keep the promises about activities that it made in court.”
