Mary got me a digiscoping adaptor for my phone for my birthday and I immediately got to use it to take photos of little guys

@frogzier The Antarctic centre in Christchurch would be an on brand visit for you also! Wellington and Auckland both have good maritime museums and the Edoras LOTR tour (also in Chch) was my favourite one out of all the ones I’ve done

@frogzier luckily it wasn’t too bad! I just had to sleep propped up for like three nights. A few months later I saw a reel of someone else who got it but worse than me and I said to Mary “oh wait that’s totally what happened to me”

@frogzier The last couple of days I was like don’t make me walk anywhere or put on anything with a waistband

@frogzier Recovery was pretty chill! I ended up getting ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome (but didn’t realise until later) so I was a fairly sore and short of breath for the first few days but overall I was mostly just taking it easy and trying to manage the bloating 😅

still in awe of the toroa (royal albatross) we saw yesterday

@frogzier we saw like 44 different species of birds and got to see some western grebe do their mating dance all before 10am 😂 it was so fun and then Mary needed a nap
