Police investigate shooting
Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Williamswood last night.
At approximately 10:40 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2600 block of Old Sambro Road in Williamswood. Upon arrival, officers located a residence that had been struck. There were no reported physical injuries.
A male suspect, dressed in dark clothing fled the area in a dark colored four door sedan or small SUV.
Members of the Forensic Identification Section attended and processed the scene. Investigators with the Integrated General Investigation Section are investigating.
The investigation is still in the early stages, but the home was believed to be targeted and not random.
