Kalinga , ifugao, Mountain Province , Northern Samar are on Alert 4 now.
It’s difficult to fight multiple battles in multiple fronts ( archipelago set up ) given our limited resources and weak healthcare system in the countryside. The role of LGUs can’t be overemphasized.

We can’t isolate and trace if we don’t perform tests. I suggested preemptive Alert level 4 in NCR during the time when cases were in the 20 k and positive rate was 40 %. It was suggested before to wall off NCR & not allow travel so the cases will not spread to rest of Luzon.

I don’t believe in lockdowns but the cornerstones in curbing the pandemic should be in place. When Omicron came to our shores , rapid antigen tests were not available or accessible to all - isolation , and tracing are anchored on the positivity of tests.
