Actually Bai Jingting's piano is better than Zhang Xincheng. Vocals too.
It's just he doesn't show it a lot.

One thing Hou Minghao said in Singer 2026 touched me: "I think I am not a born talent in music, so I hired a vocal trainer because I love singing so much"

He composed the melody (the songwriting process was even recorded in the show while he played the piano verse by verse) - while the lyrics he co-wrote together with Yang Chaoyue. It's not bad at all.
