THE CPR PLAYLIST! ❤️🩹🎶
The Philippine Red Cross released the “CPR Playlist” on Saturday, featuring songs with the right rhythm to guide the correct compression pace while performing CPR.
“Did you know that effective CPR requires 100–120 chest compressions per minute? That's about the same beat as many popular songs you already know,” their post read.
Among the songs included are “Good Luck, Babe!” “Vampire,” “Cornelia Street,” and “We Can’t Be Friends,” among others. (Facebook/Philippine Red Cross)
Happy 36th birthday to the iconic Taylor Swift.
The 14x Grammy-winning superstar, who debuted in 2006, has taken the world by storm era after era, and record after record. Her impact has ranged from her songwriting talents, which landed her a Songwriter Hall of Fame nomination in her first year of eligibility, to the phenomenon of the Eras Tour, which is the highest-grossing tour of all time. She is the first artist in history to hold the entire Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 multiple times, which no other artist has done once. She was named TIME’s Person of the Year in 2023 and, this year, broke the record for biggest album opening in Billboard 200 history when her twelfth studio album opened at four million units. She also gained ownership to her first six albums and now fully owns her entire discography, which boasts four Album of the Year wins — the most for any singer ever.

- making music that was too sad
- making music that was too happy
- making music that was too lyrically complex
- making music with lyrics that were too simple
- sports broadcasters showing her on tv without her knowledge
- merch with lightning bolts to match her lyrics
- saying she wants her kids to look like her fiance
- just simply existing…
So someone posted a video of Taylor Swift merch claiming it resembled a N*z* symbol. Then apparently they posted a video saying they posted the initial video basically to create ragebait to pay the rent.
Now people are understandably angry at her. But hey, at least she admitted it. Half the internet these days is fuelled by AI and the other half swims in monetised rage bait.
Look at all the videos disparaging Amber Heard or Blake Lively. It’s about making money off the content. It’s not about genuine beliefs or ideas or motivations or the TRUTH, it’s about bank accounts. Misogyny pays. And given the size of Taylor’s fanbase, mocking her PAYS.
But at the end of the day it’s still women & women’s suffering being exploited for the capital gains of people they don’t even know.
At the end of the day misinformation that makes people angry has become valuable than the truth. That’s why these companies don’t take it down. That’s why we are where we are.
