hey you. yes, you. remain present this week. let go of guilt attached to mistakes you’ve already made. stop worrying about future events that might not even happen. live in the moment. focus on what’s in front of you. ok? ok.
The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney
Happy Sunday!
The pews are filled. The Catholic Church is growing worldwide and is being debated amongst our politicians and pundits alike.
This is all Good news.
America might be saved yet.
Christ is King. ✝️
Pope Leo XIV is not ‘woke’, nor a Marxist, nor a progressive, nor a leftist.
The Pope is simply a Christian.
When he defends the poor and the innocent, he is following the Gospel.
When he denounces injustice, he is imitating Christ.
When he speaks for the poor, he is repeating word for word the Sermon on the Mount.
Those who are angry at him are not fighting with Pope Leo XIV.
They are fighting with Christ.
Because it was Jesus who said: ‘Whatever you did for the least of my brothers, you did for me.’
Rejecting the Pope for being merciful is not something a Christian does.
The problem is not that Leo XIV has strayed from Christ.
The problem is that some have strayed so far from the Gospel that they no longer recognize it when they see it.
Those who pray are aware of their own limitations; they do not kill or threaten with death. Instead, death enslaves those who have turned their backs on the living God, turning themselves and their own power into a mute, blind and deaf idol (Ps 115:4–8), to which they sacrifice every value, demanding that the whole world bend its knee. Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. #Peace
I don’t think people around the world realize how bad the attack on Lebanon was today. It’s BAD. Like 9/11 BAD. Hospitals are overflowing and do not have enough blood. We still don’t know what the death toll is.
This is TERRORISM. Pure and Simple.
April 8. Never forget.
My favorite part of resurrection is when they went back and didn’t find Jesus where they left him!! Don’t let NOBODY find you where they left you. Elevate! He got up! You can too! Nothing is too hard for my God!
St. Augustine tells us that a single tear shed at the remembrance of the Passion of Jesus is worth more than a Pilgrimage to Jerusalem, or a year of fasting on bread and water.
After receiving assassination threats from Israel and the United States, the Iranian Foreign Minister said:
“Your threats are beneath our feet. If we feared death, we would not have entered this war, and we would not have offered our finest men as martyrs. Death is an honor for us while defending our homeland….
We were born free, and we will die free.”
Even today there are tombs to be opened, and often the stones sealing them are so heavy and so closely guarded that they seem to be immovable. Some weigh heavily on the human heart, such as mistrust, fear, selfishness and resentment; others, stemming from these inner struggles, sever the bonds between us through war, injustice and the isolation of peoples and nations. Let us not allow ourselves to be paralyzed by them! #Easter
MESSAGE
I wholeheartedly endorse the powerful appeal for peace made by the Holy Father, Pope Leo, during his Palm Sunday Mass. His call for the laying down of arms and the renunciation of violence resonated profoundly with me, as it speaks to the very essence of what all major religions teach.
Indeed, whether we look to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism or any of the world's great spiritual traditions, the message is fundamentally the same: love, compassion, tolerance, and self-discipline. Violence finds no true home in any of these teachings. History has shown us time and again that violence only begets more violence and is never a lasting foundation for peace.
An enduring resolution to conflict, including the ones we see in the Middle East or between Russia and Ukraine, must be rooted in dialogue, diplomacy and mutual respect — approached with the understanding that, at the deepest level, we are all brothers and sisters.
I urge for and pray that the violence and conflicts may soon come to an end.

In moments when I desperately need her intercession, I find myself reminding The Blessed Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to her protection, implored her help, or sought her intercession was left unaided.
The Memorare is such a beautiful prayer.
