Avoid parking cars under trees- Fall leaves often find their way into car’s nooks/crannies getting caught under wipers, air intakes, drain holes, etc. Some even contain acidic tree sap that can damage car’s paint finish..#dontparkundertrees

Bananas- Yes in grocery store reaching for the dreaded plastic bag to place them? Me, I’m never able to separate the thin plastic without wetting my fingers. 🤔 Solution, 1st remove code tag stuck on banana, use its sticky side to pull plastic bag opn’g apart 😁. #baggingbananas

We have all drilled a hole too large for an intended screw. Instead of filling hole w stl wool etc. go to old spring collection, find size that can fit into the hole. When compressed into hole, spring then forms a new threaded circumference for new screw. #fixoversizedscrewholes

Need to install i bolts or hooks? Commonly, we place the shaft of a screwdriver thru eye & manually turn bolt. However, it’s much easier done by fitting long end of Allen Key into cordless drill, hook key short end into bolt eye, set drill speed & hit trigger. #howtoinstallibolts

Clean Rust Stains off Concrete - Try a double strength 10% cleaning vinegar, available in most hardware stores. Pour or spray on spot, wait for 1-2 mins, scrub area with a hard bristle brush & hose off with water. #cleaningruststainsfromconcrete

Teflon Tape - there are several different density/ colour choices. Remember though, it’s Imp. to roll on in Clockwise (L to R) direction. Tip, first roll a few laps onto a small rod (pencil) then apply tape from pencil to the threaded end. #teflontape #howtoapplyteflontape

I personally have tried one of these. Milk does remove many non permanent inks, I’ve used milk successfully on many shirt pockets. However, good to know if the other solutions work too. #removingstains #stainremoval

Green Algae/Moss on shaded decks. I’ve tried a few moss remover sprays w/o success. May be better solutions? however, only mix that’s worked for me is a 2 gal bucket warm water, 1.5c chlorine bleach, stiff scrub brush. Apply, wait 10 mins, scrub, hose off..#cleaningalgaeoffdecks
