If you're from a poor home
Build or buy a house
The people telling you that a house is not an investment are privileged. If you are from the streets and poverty, build or buy
That is your stability card
After that you can go ahead and take all the risks in this world
There was a reason I was not worried about the Kai Havertz revisionism in the summer lmao
All you need to do is pray he stays fit and he will never fail to make u swallow ur words for backing him
We had Jesus and Havertz but we kept begging for a Striker
Every idiot in this fan base has forgotten why all of a sudden
@Lekzy_r@TheToluB Then give him 1 star and report him via the official channel. Why bring it up with customer service, and now proceed to twitter afterwards 😂
Been over 10minutes and I’ve not seen one tweet or video showing that clear 1v1 chance Gyokeres created for Havertz and he couldn’t even beat the GK!!!!
I think y’all should be punished this season for the nonsense campaign against Gyokeres for Havertz.
The same Havertz we’ve seen for three full seasons!! We got Gyokeres and arguably fortunately Havertz was off injured for 90% of the season (with most of the attackers too) but one man held it down for the team to significantly win us the league in 22yrs, we got to 2 other finals
Then unprovoked, you all suddenly turned on him without even playing 3games this season for the same Havertz that was barely there for your most successful season in 22years!!!!!
You all are ingrates and you deserve what the world does to people like you!!
@thapsdinho@lifeofchibs What exactly is toxic in the original post please?
He stated his facts and didn't even call him shitty because he has his days and his own limits. Why can't people extend the same grace to gyokeres?
@F4BIOVIEIR4___@lifeofchibs Much better player and we won nothing while he was leading that attack for years?
Came back from injury last season and we lost 2 of our cup games last season?
Should I remind you of the decent chances he had in front of goal in all the the games we've lost? Still na our player
@HeadOfSocials@lifeofchibs Gbakares?? Lmao. The OP stated facts! And gyokeres performed last season. 2 games in and y'all are spitting this vile.
Remind me how many games it took for havertz to score a goal or how horrendous he is in the midfield where your coach bought him for?
Simply support your own!
Kai Havertz had 3 years of epl experience before he moved to Arsenal. 3 years.
He’s in his 7th season in the premier league.
He hasn’t delivered 20 goals in all comps during this tenure, infact his best career scoring season was actually 20 goals on the dot at Leverkusen (in the bundesliga, ofc)
Gyökeres on the other hand came from sporting with no epl experience and somehow outperformed Kai in a system that’s favoring him and very much not in favor of Gyökeres.
Will I sell Havertz? Most likely
Do I think he’s also good for depth? Yes I do.
Do I see him successfully leading this Arsenal team? No. Why? Because we’ve been here before, TWICE!
He has more career apps with lesser G/A despite being the false 9.
Idc what anybody says or thinks, Viktor Gyökeres didn’t under deliver in his debut season. Matter of fact, in this false 9 system he outperformed other false 9s (merino, Jesus, havertz) who have all “lead” our line at some point. We’ve never tweaked anything in his favor, if we did that and he even got chances like he should and didn’t turn up, then I can understand the outrage and I will grasp the thought process behind it but he’s been a solid addition to this team. A core reason to our recent silverware. But rest assured, season is long, injuries or not. We will be here and we will see as things unfold. But time? Walahi time will tell, don’t worry 😂😂😂😂everybody can talk their shit now.
Mind you, we gave Kai grace, 10 games before he was given a pity pen by Odegaard against Bournemouth to boost his confidence, same confidence you people are claiming isn’t a reason for the Gyökeres performance this season
12 pl mins, 73 ucl mins (subbed out for Kai), 15 comm shield mins (subbed in for Kai), his first 90 was against Ipswich today but I mean how’s confidence an issue right?
The season just started, COYG
We will all be here😂
@Shan1050@AFC__Xtra Your coach needs to fix up and stop playing like he only knows one set of tactics. The literal difference makers attack wise are struggling and the fans are too toxic to call out arteta. Eze and gyok got us too many valuable goals last season, but now they're shit .. smh
@mide_maru@Adebambo_A@AFC__Xtra The criticism is overly loud because havertz is in the form of his life. And injury to him and we're back to merino. Not like they're both great but the toxicity to gyok from his own fan base is sickening
@KingJamsTV@AFC__Xtra Like man! We watched havertz year in year out and no we're shitting on a player we're not playing to his strength and has his issues, it's so sad.
@VictoryOwai Honestly think it’s just the profile and incision of Tzolis and calafiori.
Attack wise we had a lot of pretty rotations between Saka, Cala, Havertz and Odegard across the midfield and the edge of the box depending on the game state. Allows overloads and confusion.
About 2 years ago, I observed water seeping from the floor in the living room. Initially, I thought that someone had poured water on the floor. I reached for the mop and cleaned it up, but the more mopping I did, the more water surfaced.
I called a plumber that had worked for me in the past. He was always reachable. I explained what I noticed to him and how it worried me to death that water was seeping out from the tiles in the sitting room floor.
He arrived about 20 minutes later. He stared longingly at the wall, grabbed two heavy tools, went down on one knee, and raised his mallet.
"Wait. What do you want to do?" I asked.
"We go break these tiles."
"The problem is from under?"
"I don't know. Na why we go break tiles make we find out."
"Are you sure that the problem is from the ground?"
"I no know. If we break this area and we no see anything, maybe we go break am dey trace am."
It felt like setting out to lose a lot for uncertainty. The house was not mine, and getting exactly the same tile in the market could pose a challenge. My concern was further deepened by the uncertainty expressed by the specialist I had engaged. What if we broke it and found nothing?
I asked him to leave it.
"Let me think about this. I will call you back."
I paid him for his time and watched as his motorcycle roared out of my compound.
I called an engineer who does regular construction work. I asked if he knew a competent plumber that he could vouch for. He said he knew one. He linked me up, and we agreed to meet a day later.
When the gentleman plumber arrived, the water had subsided. He listened to my concern and asked me to take him round the house. Like altar servers following the priest, I led the procession while he tailed me.
"Where does this pipe go?"
"This must be the controller for the toilet."
"This pipe takes the water from the washing machine down, abi?"
He kept asking and asserting as we moved round.
By the time we were done, he had figured out the problem.
"There was an initial plan to have a wash-hand spot here, because it is close to the place that should be the dining area. Maybe they changed their mind and blocked the pipe. I think the pipe is leaking."
"But the water is coming from the tiles, not the wall."
"Yes. If it gets too much, it goes down and forces its way up."
He brought out his machine, made a square mark on the wall, and cut neatly. Within 7 minutes, we saw a pipe. Indeed, it was sealed, but water was dropping. He fixed the issue and asked me to call a mason to do the plastering.
No broken tiles, no guesswork. Precision.
When he told me his fee, the "Nigerian" in me wanted to do what clients do to us.
"XYZ thousand kẹ? Something you did within 15 minutes. Just to break small wall and place a cap on the pipe?"
But I didn't.
I recognised expertise. I recognised precision. I recognised accurate diagnosis. I recognised a professional. I appreciated the comfort that his certainty and zero propensity for guesswork brought to me.
I paid him. He threw his crossbody bag, which had his tools in it, over his neck and bounced away from my house.
No car. No motorbike. No bicycle.
"You are charging me XYZ just for a legal opinion?"
"Haaa, you want me to pay that for CAC work?"
"I have never been asked for a consultation fee by any lawyer."
"Oh, you want me to pay just to look at this small document?"
"You're too expensive. My friend's lawyer charged one-third."
Fees are not just fees. When fees are charged, they often come with an insurance or assurance that is not spelt out.
They do not need to spend days on a task to earn premium fees. A 2-page opinion could carry more weight than a 30-page one, and whether a professional drives a car or not ultimately has no nexus with their competence.
