Calling someone a lost client simply because they used AI conflates “could have been paid” with “would have been paid.”

If someone wouldn’t have commissioned an artist even without AI, AI didn’t take their business away.

@AlphaLegion101 I think a lot of people fail to realize that if someone wasn’t willing to pay an artist before, the introduction of AI art really didn’t cause the loss of a client. And if someone decides they happen to like what AI generates more? That’s their choice. Artists can’t dictate that
