I saw a post on Reddit that said that “The underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.” And I don’t think I’ve ever seen AI described so incisively.
Unpopular opinion: this is what I think rich people should be doing instead of hiding behind charity donations which are tax write offs. Put the money actually back INTO the community, where real people are actually immediately impacted by that philanthropy.
I don’t want to "download the app" to pay for parking. I don’t want to "create an account" to see a menu. I don’t want to "provide feedback" on a 30-second interaction. I just want to exist in the physical world without a digital leash.
