@savaslab @jnp709 Also some clarity on the sex vs gender conversation, while people are right in telling you that gender is identity and sex is biological using terms like female or male sex organs leaves out intersex individuals who are still at risk for these cancers and make up ~2% of people

@savaslab @jnp709 You can also add a clarifying sentence about prostate cancer like "given that prostate removal is not routinely part of gender affirming care for transgender women, prostate cancer is an important consideration for this population who may not receive regular prevention screening"

@savaslab @jnp709 I'm a PhD student at MUN faculty of medicine. I would word as "transgender men may still be at risk for certain cancers, such as ovarian and uterine cancer, depending on their use of surgical based gender affirming care."
