The demands raised from that platform to date are:
- Restore Article 370/Freedom of J&K
- Roll back CAA/NRC
- Farmer/Majdur union things
- Oppose FCRA bill (which blocks foreign funding meant to be used against India)
- Muslim PM for India
- Hit the streets and start violence
- Support for terrorists like Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam, etc.
- Abusive language against Sri Ram and other Hindu gods/goddesses

Types of people were on the stage :
- Kejriwal and his gang (political)
- Yogendra Yadav (advisor to Sonia Gandhi gang)
- Umar Khalid's father (former chief of terrorist organisation SIMI)
- Vrinda Karat and others (typically pro Naxalis)
- Left student wing
- AAP student wing

So yes, I do believe it is a non-political movement for students... I really do.
