DOJ video released on January 31 shows Epstein’s former Palm Beach house manager Alfredo Rodriguez trying to sell Epstein’s “black book” for $50,000 during an FBI sting in 2009, not knowing he was meeting an undercover agent.

The 97-page book, made public in 2015, contained over 1,500 names linked to Epstein’s network.

Rodriguez worked for Epstein from 2004 to 2005. After being fired, he took Epstein’s black book, later calling it “insurance” because he feared Epstein might try to make him “disappear.”

He was eventually arrested and charged with obstruction of justice for withholding evidence from federal investigators, and sentenced to 18 months in prison — a longer term than Epstein initially received. Rodriguez died in 2014
