First time since Enzo the club might actually get the manager they wanted, Had to settle for Cooper instead of Corberan, Ruud instead of Potter, Cifuentes instead of Rohl
@BeanMallard@AndyBisnosLCFC And Cardiff went up with possession football all through the season so it can clearly work, maybe there's more context to Plymouth's turn around than just "hoof ball good" https://t.co/6D85lCplfM
@BCofBWFC@lcfcgeorgee@JPercyTelegraph Cardiff got promoted with 62% possession and Lincoln got promoted with like 40, league one is not some boogey league where you can't play X kind of football, what matters is the players and the manager our fate is dependent on the performances of both not the playstyle
Think Russell Martin makes sense for Leicester City for so many reasons. Completely understand doubts or concerns. But in League One, heโs a great candidate.
Think some of the things Iโve read in the past, last week and today is absolutely wide of the mark. Being against a manager before his appointment, not sure.
Itโs a chance for him to rebuild his own career whilst attempting to bring City back. Reset of playing squad (many expected to leave) will give him a clean slate.
More to come on Martin early next week. #LCFC

@lcfcgeorgee@JPercyTelegraph moleicester thought top would actually care about their managerial preferences after they booed the next man city manager ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
@cuzcuzverde Obviously it's not ideal, but it's not "money down the drain either", for example in the season before Tielemans left you would have been happy selling him for 5-10m on a loss, and been unable to replace him? A player of Tielemans quality? That's just dumb
@cuzcuzverde If you actually understood how sales actually worked, you understand that it was probably better to let these guys leave for free after the season than take a loss on them, lose the player, then be unable to replace them (because you took the loss).
@lee1978lcfc "Nowhere to be seen" with 20 g/a, you should know it's hard to start up with a disgrace of a striker upfront, but glazing vardy till kingdom come after getting relegated for the 3rd time in 4 seasons
@Wolf__Todd@lee1978lcfc I never said anything about not "doing anything before the financial period" nor have I been gaslight.
My only points are:
We need a manger before the retained list
Ruud was sacked late to avoid psr
Two concrete facts, your point is "well why can't we just do x" with 0 logic
