Meet our Podiatry team; Rachel Forss, Justine Tansley and Simon Cahill, who have successfully completed the 83rd Novespace parabolic flight campaign. They captured 102 toe pressures across 93 parabolas and over 8 hours of continuous monitoring data 😅
Day 9 Bordeaux: 3rd parabolic flight. Over the mediterranean. The team have found their space legs. More data gathered followed by rapid unloading ready for the journey home. There was still time to meet another astronaut Thomas Pesquet.
Day 6 Bordeaux: pre flight day. We welcomed the remainder of the group over the weekend. Another busy day of prep, consenting participants, presenting our project to the other groups and meeting retired astronaut Jean-Francois Clervoy. Our first 4 flyers are ready to go.
Day 5 Bordeaux: we passed the final safety checks this morning and received our flight suits......making it very real. Now the flight is being processed ready for our first flight on Tuesday #podsinspace
