@DavidFischer no we are owned by Jesus, purchased with His blood. We can loose a lot in regard to our position in heaven, but being with Him is inevitable
@BrysonGray being counted as righteous is faith alone, faith works with your works to be completed. James is talking to saved folks to work out their faith, not be saved from lake of fire.
@JoshuaBarzon Accurate, yes. Terrible way to cite your sources. and by salvation you specifically mean "go to heaven when you die" salvation is usually not physically dying in the bible
use 2 tim 2:13 as security
@EvanPaul05 sry it took so long to get back to you. The promptings of the Holy Spirit. (be filled with the Spirit eph 5:18, Rom 14 explains the promptings may be different, but wont contradict scripture{say lying or murder or adultery, etc)
@DerekAyala1987 Where is that in the bible. Believe God and that is reckoned as righteousness. Do you HAVE to believe in a trinity to be saved or vice versa, highly doubt it. Focus on unity and not being a continuous person. Jesus is king and believing in Him makes us brothers in Christ.
@dessertrat33 I suppose the next question is are they mutually exclusive. This may take more time than it should at a glance, but somethings are more complicated than they seem on the surface. then reject the source of one and non inspired by the Spirit, thus not cannon.
@MikeWingerii It doesnt say angels are made in His image, nor does it say they arnt. something to chew on, but yes this gives every person, baby intrinsic value .
@wrapologetics@Meyers85014@Vicar1973@TheYellowKazoo@grok fair enough, my point earlier was that we get caught up in arguing and dont do it with glorifying our Father. we can argue lets say evolution, but the main point remains to bring the focus back to Jesus and His death and resurrection to unbelievers, rather than being correct
