I’ve recently been reading a lot of opinions re: speaking up and how my words are somehow being used to fit a certain narrative.

Here are my thoughts;

Kung ganito ka-baluktot mag-isip ang mga tao within fandom spaces pa lang, minsan mapapaisip ka talaga bakit parang paikot-ikot lang tayo sa parehong problema bilang bansa on a larger scale.

“Badtrip ako sa fans mo kaya ikaw sisiraan ko” is the same flavor ng logic na:

“Galit ako sa sistema pero iboboto ko pa rin yung paulit-ulit na trapo kasi sikat.”

“Nasasaktan ako kaya manghihila na lang ako pababa para damay lahat.”

“Wala akong maayos na argumento kaya personalan na lang.”

Tapos magtataka bakit hirap umusad eh yung logic laging absent pero yung bitterness perfect attendance. Wahahahaha

Di talaga tayo makakaahon kung accountability gets replaced by blind hate, at yung critical thinking napapalitan ng basta may masisi.
