BREAKING: 60,000 permanent visas have been granted for people who arrived ILLEGALLY by boat during the Rudd-Gillard-Rudd era.

That’s the number The Australian Newspaper just dragged out of Home Affairs Minister, Tony Burke.

Albanese and Tony Burke spent years pretending they were “tough on borders”

Meanwhile they quietly converted the Rudd-Gillard- Rudd boat surge from 2009-2014 into permanent residency.

Andrew Giles launched the Resolution of Status visa in Feb 2023 and said about 19,000 would be eligible.

They’ve now issued more than 60,000.

Most of them were sitting on Temporary Protection and Safe Haven visas, the ones Labor promised would never become a pathway to stay.

Well, now they have.

17,000 of them are already eligible for citizenship, or will be shortly.
