I got something a college degree won’t get you. Something one could never do to earn it. Something $$$ could never buy. Something that is eternal, lasts forever, & defines me of who I am.
Conforming to external factors in the long run means nothing. There has to be a fundamental, restructuring of the heart. So, it is not something that you do, it is something that you are.
I love the irony of growth in the gospel because it goes completely against our culture. We grow more when we focus less on ourselves and more on what he’s done for us.
The hard part is not working. It’s resting. It’s not about what you’ve done, it’s about what he has done and continuing to believe it day in and day out.
