Dear friends, family, colleagues, and well-wishers,
Esther Eyimonye, a student of the University of Jos, has just concluded her examinations and was travelling back to Lagos when she was kidnapped. Her captors are demanding a ransom of โฆ18 million for her safe release.
This is a deeply distressing situation for Esther and her family. She is a young student who was simply trying to return home after completing her exams. Every moment counts, and the family is urgently seeking support to raise the required amount so that she can be brought home safely.

Some of you are doing some of the right things but the reasons you're not successful is that you are not locked in enough.
And you're not locked in enough because you want to have your cake and eat it: you want to be able to hang with all your friends, eat anything you like, sleep as long as you want and also still win.
The problem is that it does not always work. When you lock in, your circle will narrow to only a few essential folks, you might change a lot about your habits; you might sleep less and a whole lot of other changes.
So you don't do it. You rather "manage". There is a time for everything. If you are in lock in season, please leave everything and lock in.
When you ease off, the things and people you missed will be there. At least the ones that matter.
Difficult times can make you start to doubt yourself. You can start to wonder whether you have been overestimating yourself. That maybe you are actually not all that. It is good to sometimes doubt. I will not tell you not to do so because, as Socrates once said, โAn unexamined life is not worth living.โ
Instead, I will say it is an opportunity to show again how good you really are. Have your doubt, forget the hype about yourself, dig very deep and apply your mind to the challenges facing you.
Then sit back and admire your own brilliance. Do not be so modest that you cannot say: โI am Ezemmuo. I know things.โ๐
I will explain this. Try to read it from a place of calmness.
You seeโฆthis thing, this very thing youโre doing now, is part of how we got to this level of degeneracy. This need to pander to feelings. This need to not come off as condescending. Yes, this very reason, is why
As a man, what defines you is not how tightly you can grip the world, but how fluidly you can move through it. It is your ability to adapt, regardless of the hand youโre dealt, that marks the core of your masculinity. Do not be seduced by the red-pill gospel that preaches dominance over women, wealth, or status as the ultimate proof of manhood. That is not power. That is panic dressed in philosophy. It is the desperate howl of a man still at war with himself, afraid, but too proud to admit it, so he cloaks the fear in performance and calls it masculinity.
The true measure of a man lies in his capacity to look a benefactor in the eye and say, โNo. I will not have this. Fuck you!โ even when it costs him everything. To then step into the desert, unmapped, uncharted, and unkind, and still find his way. And if, by some miracle or grit, you turn that wilderness into your own version of the Burj Al Arab, then magnificent. Youโve built a monument. Youโre a super man.
But even if you donโt build anything grand, if all you ever do is keep moving, keep adjusting, keep becoming, then you have already achieved something most men never do: you have remained yourself. And that, that relentless resilience in the face of the unknown, is worth celebrating. Because that, right there, is what it means to be a man.
