Does shit like this really exist? I mean I get the caricature of wolf in sheep's clothing, and the correlation with societal disruption; but man why make it so apparent with your logo.
So fucking weird.
The Fabian Society's coat of arms is literally a wolf wearing a sheep skin. (A wolf in sheeps clothing) as the saying goes. This is what Starmer was a member of. And im pretty sure so is Andy Burnham.
@brahma_4u He is not wrong. Game is largely over for India. We can only catchup, like most of the world.
Bright spot is that we have a huge unease about lagging behind, so maybe we can do something, but I am not sure.
A bit of news: After nearly 9 years, I have decided to leave Google DeepMind and join Anthropic (after taking some time to recharge). I am incredibly grateful for my time at GDM. @demishassabis took a real chance letting me lead the AlphaFold team just six months after finishing my PhD, and the entire GDM team taught me so much about how to do great science. GDM is a special place, and Iโll still be excited to hear about what amazing things they discover next.

It looks like it would be better for us to directly ablate nex-agi/Nex-N2-Pro.

No, infact its the opposite, China leads in open sourcing its models.
Oftentimes, going above and beyond in open sourcing infrastructure optimization receipts etc as well.
US adopts China Model.
US Govt, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

Umn...yeah codex cannot read x Mn rows of data but it can invoke pandas or polars etc to do so. It can also look at patterns and do analysis via tool calls to the frameworks.
Autoresearch solves for most of what the author says it cannot do.
Answer for ML Engineers:
Codex can't read 650M rows of data.
Codex can suggest feature engineering techniques and code but can't perform observation and analysis.
Codex can write PyTorch code but can't execute it to check local minima convergence.
Codex can do offline evaluation but not online evaluations.
Conceptual drift and data drift can't be fixed with AI yet.
Codex can't provide business metric improvements.
Codex can write scripts but can't run MLOps pipelines.
Codex can't run A/B tests in production.
Codex can only write code, but ML jobs require experiments and observations.
If you use Codex for this then be ready to exhaust 4x times more with loop of errors
