I published the codebase from my Google I/O talk with @random_forests and Girija Sathyamurthy today. We covered the open source AI stack for TPUs.
The repo shows two common TPU pipelines:
- Serving Gemma 4 (31B) with vLLM-TPU
- Post-training alignment with GRPO using Tunix

In 2021 I mined 1.55 ETH into a crypto wallet. When I needed to access it recently my seed phrase didn't work in any standard tool.
Turns out the wallet software (coinwallet) back in 2021 had a bug that gave people the WRONG SEED PHRASE! Anyone who created a wallet during that period can't access it by normal approaches.
After weeks of forensics, I found the bug and recovered my ETH. Posting the full story and recovery code below!

MCPS is officially moving the goalposts.
After their materially flawed "housing doesn’t equal students" data was publicly dismantled, they needed a new excuse to justify permanent school closures. So today, they pivoted.
In today's BOE meeting, MCPS specifically stated they are now forecasting massive enrollment drops based on live birth rate data. They presented this slide (Image 1), pointing to the 35,000+ student crash of the 1970s "Baby Bust" to tell us what to expect as our new "normal."
The problem? The actual data doesn't back them up.
Look at the Maryland historical birth rates (Image 2). Yes, the 1970s saw a massive, undeniable cliff. But look at today's projections on the far right. The current birth rate trend is a shallow, gentle slope. It looks absolutely nothing like the historic bust they are using to justify their drastic forecasts.
We dismantled their housing data, and now their birth rate logic doesn't line up either. You cannot justify a 2026 school closure by comparing today's mild dip and COVID-19 year impact to a historical demographic crash. They are simply retrofitting bad data to support a predetermined conclusion.
We cannot allow MCPS to push permanent decisions using bad math, shifting narratives, and moving targets. When the stakes for our children are this high, we deserve transparent, mathematically sound leadership.
The vote is March 26.

MCPS is officially deflecting. After being publicly confronted at last night's Board of Education meeting about their materially flawed housing data, I received this email from the official who presented the slide.
Notice what is missing? An answer.
She completely ignored the 11,467 unit Census error. She ignored the mismatched visual axes. She ignored the hidden 2,300 student enrollment rebound. Instead, she tried to pivot to data from the 1970s.
They are trying to downplay the exact same slide the Superintendent paused on for dramatic effect so we could all "take it in." It is also the sole graphic MCPS chose to feature in their official public post justifying the work session.

I’ve also attached my response.
We cannot allow MCPS to push permanent decisions using bad math, pass the blame to someone else when caught, and then dodge accountability behind closed doors. When the stakes for our children are this high, we deserve transparent, mathematically sound leadership.

🚨 BREAKING: Manipulated data presented to the Montgomery County Board of Education to justify permanently closing Wootton High School. 🚨
The Superintendent actually asked to pause on this slide during the presentation so we could all "take it in." Well okay. Let us take it in. Look at this slide. It is so compelling. The lines are going in opposite directions! Clearly housing growth and student enrollment are negatively correlated. But what if the data is both wrong AND presented in a way to deceive you. I'll explain in this thread....
