Leaders from Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Sikh & Hindu communities, among others, issued joint statement: “Division can destroy the very relationships & environment that we depend upon every day of our lives & there is no place for hate in our communities”.
Rahul Dravid’s incredible coaching journey has shaped the success of Indian cricket.
His unwavering dedication, strategic insights and nurturing the right talent have transformed the team.
India is grateful to him for his contributions and for inspiring generations. We are happy to see him lift the World Cup. Happy to have congratulated him.
@bbclaurak
Just watched Jeremy Hunt on your show. No mention on social care reform that was moved to October 2025. Will Labour mention it ? Or will it be kicked down the road…….again.
The score is 3-won! 😉
India once again came back from a pressure situation and fought back to win the match. It shows the character and the mental strength of our players.
A great first spell in Test cricket for Akashdeep. @dhruvjurel21 was terrific at reading the length in both innings and his footwork was precise. His partnership with @imkuldeep18 kept us in the game in the 1st innings, and his knock in the 2nd innings helped us sail home. Kuldeep's spell in the 2nd innings was vital. Seniors like @ashwinravi99, @imjadeja and @ImRo45 did their jobs. @ShubmanGill showed great temperament in curbing his instinct in the chase and scored an important 50.
So happy that the match as well as the series is ours.

UK government knew Post Office had ditched secret investigation that might have helped postmasters prove their innocence, BBC reveals https://t.co/5RjjDcKumN
Interesting that the government wants to give nursery workers a £1,000 'golden hello', but nothing for care workers despite 150,000 vacant posts in social care. Why don't we care about older and disabled people, or the people that support them?
For six months I have seen the care system through the eyes of those who rely on it to stay alive.
This level of access is rare, sadly their struggles are not.
Thank you to the families for letting us into their world.
Fighting For our Son's Care is on @BBCiPlayer now.
England cricketers are wearing their teammates names in the pre-match line up, to draw attention to confusion often experienced by people living with dementia and how people with dementia lose precious memories.
