Conoil Plc has proposed a dividend of N2.00 per share for the 2025 financial year, amounting to a total payout of N1.387 billion, despite reporting a sharp decline in profitability as rising borrowings and finance costs weighed heavily on earnings. https://t.co/6JkI90HSV0
A FIFA World Cup host country must guarantee two fundamental principles: the safety of the country — and the unrestricted entry of all qualified teams, officials and referees. The case of referee Omar Artan from Somalia is against one of these obligations. FIFA must never compromise the universality of football. #Fifa #Somalia #GianniInfantino #CAF #OmarAtan #DonaldTrump
Not only did you (Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar) initiate and ensure the restoration of democracy; you sustained it not only because of the peace that you had walked with other people, but the way you actually walked with me after I took over, says Olusegun Obasanjo, Fmr. President of Nigeria.

Only Nigerians can complain that foreign airlines dominate our skies, then refuse to fly the one Nigerian airline flying our flag proudly into London.
Air Peace didn’t wait for permission. They entered one of the toughest routes in the world and disrupted the game.
Abuja to London. Lagos to London. Nigerian crew. Nigerian ambition. Nigerian excellence.
And while others drop you at the airport and wish you luck, Air Peace has a driver waiting to take you anywhere in London for FREE.
Read that again.
You land in London and your ride is already sorted if you’re flying business class.
This is not just a flight. This is premium Naija steeze.
If you’re flying to London, why not fly with the airline carrying your flag, creating Nigerian jobs, proving that we can compete with the best, and still giving you VIP treatment when you land?
Big energy. Big value. Big pride. Air Peace isn’t just flying to London. Air Peace is taking Nigeria with it.
Fly @flyairpeace. Let them know Nigerians back their own.
I likened the reforms of President Tinubu’s administration to the journey of a kid destined to succeed in athletics who then suffered an unexpected accident on Your Voice Podcast hosted by @PBATMediaCentre.

The meeting focused on improving coordination between security agencies and local structures to tackle insecurity across the South West region.
"I'm not given to emotional argument. The World Bank report that was released two days ago, that says what the President has done economically, is that a half-truth? The S&P report that was released, is that a half-truth? World Bank MD came to Nigeria and said that the economic reforms of President Tinubu has become a case study globally... I keep wondering where are they getting their own information? — Analyst Obafemi George
Following the FEC approval of our National AI Trust to ensure long-term leadership for Artificial Intelligence in Nigeria, we held a co-creation workshop in London on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing together leading researchers, academics, policymakers, industry experts, philanthropies, and public interest organisations as we commenced the process of establishing this first-of-its-kind AI Trust.
As Artificial Intelligence becomes an increasingly important driver of economic competitiveness, it is critical that we build not only the technology foundations, but also the institutions that can provide sustainable stewardship. The National AI Trust is envisioned as a body of trustees that will help ensure that AI development and deployment delivers broad-based economic and social value for all Nigerians.
Convening the workshop in London allowed us to tap into world-class expertise and diverse perspectives, helping to strengthen our thinking and shape the future direction of the National AI Trust.
As part of the visit, I enjoyed being hosted by my alma mater, @WarwickBSchool, for a keynote conversation on Global Perspectives: AI, Institutions, and National Competitiveness, hosted by Professor Christian Stadler. The discussion provided an opportunity to share Nigeria’s approach to building the talent, infrastructure, digital public infrastructure, and institutional capacity required to compete and thrive in an AI-driven world.
My sincere appreciation to the @macfound, @Cc_HUB, and the @WarwickBSchool, for organizing the workshop, and all participants and partners whose contributions continue to strengthen Nigeria’s AI journey.

Before you attend the next podcast of ignorant folks:
OBIdients: Peter left N70 billion behind as Anambra Governor to his Obiano his successor....
FACT: Gov Obiano the successor said Peter Obi his predecessor left DEBT of N127 billion behind....
Common sense: Why didn't you pay the N70 billion so the N127 billion debt you left behind for Obiano would have reduced to N57 billion and it would be clear that you left a debt of N57 billion ONLY behind?🥹🥹
Did Obi leave extra behind or debt liability based on this available information?
Shares of Elon Musk's space and AI company surged 25% on debut, pushing its valuation even higher after completing what is being described as the world's largest IPO.

In the history of this Republic, the chapter on our former Head of State, His Excellency General Abdulsalami Abubakar, GCFR, is short in length but long in consequence.
Short, because he spent only eleven months in office. Long, because at the end of those months came a handover that gave every Nigerian elected since 1999 the democratic ground to stand on.
That is the weight of his legacy: power held with restraint, and returned with honour.
As he celebrates his 84th birthday today, I remain deeply grateful for his fatherly guidance over the years, and I join millions of Nigerians in praying that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to bless him with good health, peace, strength and many more years.
Happy Birthday, Sir!
