Our office cleaner celebrated her birthday last month.
She brought pounded yam and egusi soup to the office for everyone. We were surprised.
Some of my colleagues quickly contributed money, bought drinks and a cake to celebrate her.
While the food was being served, a lady who had just resumed work rejected hers.
She said, “Is this how you people do things here? You eat a cleaner’s food? A cleaner?”
Everyone else ate the food and enjoyed it.
Then last Friday, it was this lady’s birthday.
She ordered fried rice and drinks for everyone at the office.
When the food arrived, she asked them to serve us.
Everyone rejected the food.
