Four American presidents were shot to death in office: Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, and Kennedy.

In every case, the assassination halted or reversed the president’s core policy direction. In every case, the President who succeeded him realigned U.S. policy in ways that served imperial interests.

1.) Lincoln issued greenbacks - debt-free currency issued directly by the Treasury, bypassing private banks. British and Wall Street interests fiercely opposed it. His assassin’s network was run out of London by Judah P. Benjamin, a British-born Confederate Secretary of State who fled to England after the war.

His successor, Andrew Johnson, oversaw the rapid contraction of the greenback supply, returning monetary control to Anglo-American gold cartels and forcing the agrarian South into raw-material dependence for British textile mills.

2.) Garfield aggressively challenged British financial dominance and British-backed proxy wars in South America. Rothschild’s chief U.S. agent, August Belmont, openly celebrated Garfield’s assassination in private correspondence.

His successor, Chester A. Arthur, immediately sidelined Garfield’s Secretary of State James Blaine, abandoned the aggressive hemispheric policies, and adopted a more conciliatory stance that pleased Wall Street and London elites.

3.) McKinley championed protectionist tariffs that threatened British free-trade dominance and pushed the Railway projects that would have reduced British dominance over trade routes. He was killed by an anarchist tied to a London-based network funded by Jacob Schiff and the British royal family’s personal banker, Sir Ernest Cassel.

His successor, Theodore Roosevelt, reversed economic nationalism and ushered in the “Great Rapprochement,” aligning the United States toward British-style global imperialism.

4.) Kennedy simultaneously threatened multiple pillars of the Anglo-American establishment: debt-free silver certificates, dismantling the CIA, winding down the Vietnam War, and demanding inspections of Israel’s Dimona nuclear program. He was assassinated in Dallas.

His successor, Lyndon B. Johnson, immediately canceled the silver certificate program, empowered the CIA, strengthened ties with Israel, and dramatically escalated the Vietnam War.

Four presidents.
Four assassinations.
Each one fighting imperial power.
Each replaced by a successor who reversed those policies.

You ever notice how the same crowd that spent 2022 swearing Russian sanctions would accomplish nothing and oil would hit $380 is now the loudest voice telling us the Iran blockade was always going to fail? Same people who warned that tariffs on China would only hurt American consumers are suddenly very certain that any real pressure on Beijing is pointless and self-defeating.

It’s not random. It’s a pattern. Every time the U.S. actually applies meaningful economic pressure on a hostile regime, a very specific slice of the commentariat rushes to declare it dead on arrival. They don’t wait for results. They don’t even wait for the policy to fully take effect. They just know, with total confidence, that it won’t work and will probably make things worse.

Why does this keep happening with such perfect consistency? Why does the “serious” position almost always land on the same recommendation ... don’t squeeze too hard, don’t disrupt the flows, trust the experts who already got the last three doom forecasts completely wrong?

At some point you have to ask whether this is really about strategic wisdom or whether it’s just the same incentive structure showing up in different costumes. The people most eager to tell America that pressure never works tend to be the ones whose business models do best when pressure is taken off the table. That’s not a conspiracy. It’s just an extremely reliable pattern.

So when they start explaining why this latest round of sanctions or tariffs or blockades is definitely the one that won’t work, maybe the real question isn’t whether they’re right this time.

Maybe the real question is why they’re always so quick to bet against America actually using its leverage.

She has asked the Court to dismiss without prejudice, meaning she could (and has already announced she will) seek new indictments from a new grand jury. This morning, my legal team filed a response, urging the Court to dismiss with prejudice and award attorneys fees to us, pursuant to Arizona's unique anti-SLAPP statute. The AG failed to respond to the Court's ruling that we had established "prima facie proof" that the prosecution was motivated by a desire to deter or retaliate against our exercise of First Amendment rights. That would put an end to the case for good -- so let's see how the judge rules.
