@AlexDelarge6553 @SoundCheckDaily Yep, I was there that night, on the floor but well back from the pit. Looked like fun up there. I’ve seen Anthrax and Maiden in the 80’s, but first time seeing Megadeth. Dug it, glad I got to see them.

@AlexDelarge6553 I was wrong though, Iron Maiden is part of the 2026 inductees into the RRHOF but will not be at the ceremony due to being on tour in Australia. But they are finally in!

@MarioNawfal Saw Iron Maiden twice in the 80’s, at MSG and then my 20-something nephew and girlfriend wanted me to go with to the NJ show, and I’m glad did. Maiden was unbelievable, they’re pushing late 60’s/early 70’s and performing at a level that blows away guys half their age!

@feelsdesperate It’s a sad topic, the whole decline and fall of rock n roll as a prominent art form. I remember the late 70’s thru the late 90’s as the golden age. The USA and UK have drastically changed in the past 30 years….

@georgemillo There’s no mass media/record label support for emerging rock acts anymore and hasn’t been for a lot of years. A kid with a guitar or drums wants to dream big but if sees there’s no possibility of a payoff, then the dream dies, art dies. Artists have to eat too.

@MusicJim2 I remember when it came out. I was 10. A month or so later my dad bought the 8 track so we could listen in the car. In summer ‘77 I won at one of those boardwalk bazaar games in Seaside Heights, NJ and I picked the Boston album on vinyl as my prize.
