@RossDellenger Question about NIL deals and hockey. NCAA players can be drafted to the NHL and maintain their NCAA eligibility as long as they don't sign an entry level contract or attend training camps. Is there a rule that prevents NHL teams from signing their draftees to an NIL?
Consider the hockey circles Shanny has travelled in. From old guard execs to officials to former goons. Consider the balls he’s needed to stick up for his young GM hire when ALL these guys surely rode him hard. Now his ego is so fragile he cans KD on a whim? Give him more credit.
BREAKING: The Athletic has confirmed Snoop Dogg is part of Neko Sparks bid to purchase the Ottawa Senators.
The iconic artist is part of consortium planning on making aggressive bid to buy the NHL team.
It’s certainly a plot twist.

@DownGoesBrown@twolinepass just caught up on the episode where Ryan recapped his trip to Mullet Arena and it got me thinking. Would the NHL have allowed the Coyotes to play there if there was a chance of them being good and having a cup run in the next few years?
98.6% of tickets used in Halifax, with 74% being used in Moncton. This is a #worldjuniors record. To simplify, both cities nailed it so far out left field it landed in the god damn parking lot. #atlanticcanadadoesitbetter
@chairnbcpd@poitrasCBC Also, it would help expose both English and French kids to each other's language, which would do more to help bilingualism in the province long term. I learned more French in the locker room from listening to my teammates than I ever did in school
@chairnbcpd@poitrasCBC I think in a situation where anglophone and francophone kids are going on the same bus a bilingual driver should be required for that reason. Seperate busses should not be abolished when they're both full or going in different directions but when it can save resources, why not?
