It's said that a beautiful female with light surrounding her appeared to Washington and claimed to be a "heavenly messenger" and gave him 3 prophecies:

1. War of Independence: The colonies in turmoil will achieve independence.

2. Civil War: Americans will fight each other, but will unite again

3. Future Invasion of America: Foreigners will invade, cities will burn, chaos will ensue, until divine intervention comes from angelic beings.

True or not, this sounds a lot like Pleiadian contact.
